And I went on three dates with a New Yorker who proudly boasted of a book he kept that contained the names of every woman he’d ever slept with (with scores).
However, unlike the majority of Western women living in China, who watch bitterly as the egos of below-average men swell from the admiring looks of Chinese girls, I took an altogether different approach and chose to date Chinese men instead.
So I hope you guys can tell me: Where to meet new people in Shenzhen? Are the asian guys super traditional/narrow minded or more open to foreigners? I've made a lot of close friends in CD and I'd like to make more in SZ (my Mandarin is not bad).
How is the interracial -chinese/foreign- dating scene in SZ? (like in Chengdu most medical students & uni students now prefer other foreigners.
I'm not racist though I have a preference for asian but I'm not super skinny or tiny & I tend to go from kind of yellow to quite tan at times.
I do think I'm attractive but living in Chengdu has made me doubt it more than once.
In September 1999 -- my first month in China -- I had a huge crush on a guy.
Although exciting and unpredictable, from its fascinating culture to its mind-bending language, it’s certainly not an ideal place to find long-term love, no matter how beautiful, smart, successful and hilarious you may be."No wife, no children, just the silence, God, and the ruins." Where others see only sand and scrub, Sarianidi has turned up the remnants of a wealthy town protected by high walls and battlements. This barren place, a site called Gonur, was once the heart of a vast archipelago of settlements that stretched across 1,000 square miles of Central Asian plains.Viktor Sarianidi, barefoot at dawn, surveys the treeless landscape from a battered lawn chair in the Kara-Kum desert of Turkmenistan."The mornings here are beautiful," he says, gesturing regally with his cane, his white hair wild from sleep.Petite and eager to please, these girls are so cute I don’t blame the guys for being attracted to them.
